Employee Spotlight: Samuel Cheyney

Samuel Cheyney has worked at Prairie Harvest since the summer of 2006. When asked what he does here he told us that he washes dishes, changes light-bulbs (his height comes in handy for some jobs!), bags items, and helps out customers. He likes working at Prairie Harvest because his co-workers are nice people. Samuel's favorite product is the Rice Dreams Ice Cream Sandwich, found in our frozen food case and especially nice on a hot summer afternoon, or an unseasonably warm winter day!

When not at Prairie Harvest you can find Samuel at Newton High School, where he is a Junior this year, drumming with the Newton High School drum-line or hanging out with friends. He also enjoys hanging out in our kids' play area (where you'll find books and toys to entertain your little ones while you shop), as you can see in the photo to the right!

Drive-Away Dining

Take home a healthy, made-from-scratch meal from the Prairie Harvest kitchen. Prairie Harvest meals offer a healthy alternative to fast-food on evenings when you're on-the-run or just need a night off from cooking. Making one healthy change in your weekly diet has a positive affect on your overall health!

  • Order by noon for next day dinner
  • Choose between soup & salad with sandwich or entrĂ©e for $10.39 (only $20.78 for two!)
  • Pick-up between 5 - 6 P.M.

Refer to the PDF version of this newsletter for the full dinner schedule.
