"Excuse me . . .would you have any Raw Almonds?"
One customer daily asks if we have raw almonds or sunflower seeds. The answer is yes! We display our raw nuts in the refrigerator because it keeps them much fresher! In fact, our back stock is kept frozen. This is just one way Prairie Harvest cares for the quality of your food.
You'll find our whole grain flours in refrigeration. Valuable nutrition is also lost after a grain is ground into flour and keeping it cool retards that loss.
May Bike Event
Over 40 bicycling enthusiasts shared stories over a turkey enchilada supper recently at Prairie Harvest. Tune-ups were offered on site for donation. $353.50 was raised, enough for four bicycles for HIV/AIDS workers in Africa, a program of Mennonite Central Committee.
